All insurance companies in Nepal are regulated by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NIA), formerly known as Insurance Board (Beema Samiti), established in 1969. Per Insurance Act 2079, all insurers must register with NIA. HamroBeema only lists NIA-verified insurers.
